At this point we are just waiting to see how things progress with Brooklyn's re stitched opening and to see if there was any sign of infection in the fluid that they drew from her shunt.
In the best case scenario at this point she will be able to go home tomorrow if it does not look like there is anything in the fluid and if there is nothing leaking from her opening behind her ear.
alternatives at this point could be a new shunt and possibly some other treatments but we are hoping for the best of this time.
I will try to keep you updated as new information comes in.
