The orange on her head is a disinfectant that will be left there for a few days to keep her bacteria-free for the first few post-surgery days. She is doing well and seems to be coming back to her normal self fairly quickly. She is eating well and overall things appear to be pretty stable.
Kaiya just said, "mom, she's so cute." I agree. What a cute, sweet girl Brooklyn is. We are bummed about the extra hospital visits and surgery she has had to endure, and the rest of you as well. We will continue to pray for you all and are very impressed with your faithful attitudes and strength. Loves from cousins!
