The drain coming from the inside of Brooklyn's brain is not draining very fast but the neurosurgeon team is taking a patient approach to see how she progresses. I believe they are concerned that if they drain it to fast the other pocket to the side of her head could re-accumulate and so they will be patient so as to not take a step back. There has been a small amount of drain from the inside of the brain and hopefully it will increase while the pocket to the side of her brain stays low.
Jenny's sister Becky and her daughter Ellie came by yesterday. This allowed me to get some work and errands done and so I'm grateful to Becky for making this sacrifice. Brooklyn's grandma and grandpa Simon also stopped by for a visit. Thanks to everyone else who continues to provide so many acts of kindness and service during this up and down time for our family.
