Brooklyn had her first trip to Salt Lake that was not medically related. We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Simon for Grandma's birthday and we had a great time. We went to the zoo and hung out with the grandparents. Brooklyn did great with the new surroundings and time out. Life has become fairly routine at this point, for which we are grateful. It's hard to believe all that has happened over the past few months and we hope this streak of normal can continue.
On a few other notes...her appointment with the pediatrician the other day went well. She is up to 16 pounds and overall the doctor seemed pleased with where she is at. Her head is a bit tender right in the back of the head at the top, which causes us a bit of concern but so far the doctors seem to want us to just keep an eye on her and how she is acting.
