Blessing Day

Brooklyn's blessing day was wonderful.  She had so much support from family and friends to share this day with her and it could not have gone better.  She remained peaceful during the blessing and I felt good during the blessing.  Here is a few of the things that were mentioned, based on notes from Brooklyn's Grandma Young.

You have already faced challenges and you are loved by family and friends, and especially by Heavenly Father. He chose to send you here for a special purpose.  We bless you to be strong, courageous, and faithful to Heavenly Father.  We bless you to recognize your blessings.  You have already experienced miracles in life, be grateful for them.  Be an optimist and example of living the gospel.  You will have a sense of peace as you follow Savior and you will have the opportunities that Heavenly Father has in store for you.  Know that these will come in the Lord’s time.  Cherish divine gifts, and seek to develop them.  Be wise in the influences you take in and look to your mother and other good examples.  Feel the love of the Savior for you.

Brooklyn continues to be strong and the shunt still appears to be working.  We are so grateful for her progress.
