Brooklyn's shunt still appears to be working well as her head circumference is holding steady and she at times appears a bit sunken in the fontanel. She is eating well and gaining weight. When I got back from working in Salt Lake for most of last week, I noted that Brooklyn has done so well with her eating that she no longer has a visible neck. Now that they have moved the shunt to the other side, she has also been sleeping on the right side of her head (before she slept almost exclusively on the left side). I think this is also helping to shape her head better. Overall we are pleased things seem to be working in her favor and continue to have hope this shunt will last for a while.
I also wanted to note that we'll be doing Brooklyn's baby blessing in conjunction with her sister Katelyn's baptism this Saturday. The service begins at 10 am but there are several groups before us and so Katelyn's baptism and Brooklyn's blessing will likely be closer to 11 am. For those who are interested in attending, here is a map to the chapel where both events will take place:
Chapel
When I tried typing in the address of the chapel it went to the wrong place on Google Maps and so I would recommend opening this link and typing in the starting point if you are unfamiliar with the area.
