2 months and counting

It has been over 2 months since Brooklyn had her shunt placed and we are so grateful that the shunt continues to function as we would hope.  She has also started in the up to 3 program (http://upto3.org/), which offers early intervention to help babies and toddlers with challenges.  The physical therapist was by the other day and said something to the effect that out of the thousands of kids he has worked with she is doing very well, although he did not want to get our hopes up.  Overall she is interactive and shows some signs of strength.  We are still trying to find the trick to get her laughing but she is a good girl who adores her mother and cries a little too soon when daddy holds her (although she does give me some great smiles).
