Results of Dr. Visit

Jenny took Brooklyn down for a visit to Primary Children's yesterday.  They had a safe trip and returned in the early afternoon.  Jenny was able to get answers to her questions about the shunt tubing in the shoulder area and other issues and overall it sounds as though Brooklyn is doing well.  Based on what the doctor could see, the shunt appears to be working and she does not need to come back until June.  We can also start to lay her flat, which is nice because up until now we have largely tried to have her on an incline so that there can be less pressure and thus makes it easier for the incisions from the surgery to heal.

All in all it was a positive visit and we will continue to move forward, enjoying these days of "normal life" for as long as we get them.
